This ensures MondoClad is NCC compliant and streamlines the building approvals process providing comfort to developers, specifiers and builders on their use of façade materials.
MondoClad® has been independently tested and assess to AS4284, meeting the criteria of the FP1.4 performance requirement for weatherproofing.
In addition, MondoClad has recently been tested against hail performance. Whilst there is no Australian Standard test for hail impact on wall panels, in consultation with industry experts, HVG Facades tested to ANSI FM 4473, an internationally benchmarked test that was conducted locally in Australia.
Specific sized ice balls are projected at 32.1m/s (~ 115kph) and aimed at three impact zones, edge, corner, centre.
