Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) Data Center was recently built using our premium aluminium cladding solution, MondoClad®.
FDC Building engaged Archer Facades to install this unique cladding design on the BAC Data Center. Archer Facades’ aim was not only to meet the architectural design requirements, but also to exceed them.
External Cladding on a building is a focal point and a showcase for many projects that Archer Facades installs. Therefore, MondoClad® was a fit for purpose product for both the installer and the builder.
BAC Data Center façade is a clever combination of perforated and non-perforated MondoClad®, non-combustible external cladding and another great aluminium cladding installation installation by Archer Facades using open joint rain screen design, and a combination of colours including silver metallic and charcoal.
The aim of this project was to install a large-scale modular panel in a solid and metallic finish, perforated and non-perforated. The rigidity of the 5000 series marine grade alloy allowed for large scale panels to be free from deflection and corrosion. The flawless paint finish from one elevation to the next provided the ‘wow factor’ that was desired with the added ability to perforate the MondoClad® solid aluminium material.
